Industrial emulsions are pre-mixed concentrates containing mineral oil, emulsifiers (e.g., sodium petroleum sulfonate, sulfonated castor oil), and functional additives. When diluted with water, they form stable oil-in-water dispersions. Emulsifiers bridge oil and water phases due to their amphiphilic structure: polar groups attract water, non-polar groups attract oil. This stabilizes emulsions by forming interfacial monolayers and preventing oil droplet coalescence.

Application

Suitable for emulsion purification in machining processes including turning, milling, drilling, planing, boring, reaming, gear cutting, threading, and precision grinding.
